To have a web site, you need a domain name to be its address:

Search for a domain name to register or transfer. This is where you can register a new domain through us or transfer the domain for another provider so we will handle it in the future and bill you for renewals. This will also enable the domain management to be available within your login here.

Enter a domain name whose DNS records you will be maintaining with another provider. This is the place to enter the domain which you have, or will, register elsewhere. You will need to update the nameserver details yourself with that provider after you've setup the hosting.
